Wonderful Condover hall

At the beginning of the month, the U11 and U13 netball teams set off on their trip to Condover Hall with Miss Tikare and Miss Lewis for the GDST Netball Tournament.

On the evening of their arrival, girls enjoyed dinner before some activities. The next morning, the U11s played in their 6-game group stage whilst U13s enjoyed a morning of activities. One of the activities was ‘The Grid of Stones’ which required problem solving and doing puzzles. Others included a high ropes course and a climbing wall!

In the afternoon, the U13s played their group stage matches in which they won 13-1 against Sutton, 11-5 against Notting Hill and Ealing and 14-6 against Newcastle. The U11s enjoyed an afternoon of zip wiring.

The final evening involved dinner and exploring Condover Hall. On Sunday morning, U11s played a nail-biting playoff game which unfortunately resulted in a 2-1 loss against Norwich – just missing out on a place in the semi-finals The U13s played against Sheffield and won 5-4, then played South Hampstead and lost 15-2. A superb effort which put them 3rd in the group – meaning they also narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals.

An outstanding weekend of netball and activities was enjoyed by all who attended. Congratualtions to all girls who played incredible netball all weekend!
