African Drumming Workshop

Year 4 and Year 9 had an exciting African Drumming workshop last month which was led by Emmanuel Okine from Inspire-Works.

Emmanuel taught the students about the Djembe and Djun Djun and every participant learnt to play an energetic piece of music from West Africa.

Emmanuel used to work in the circus so he also showed us some tricks where he balanced the drum on his head.
Needless to say you should not try this at home!
