Young Artists’ Summer Show

This is an opportunity for secondary level students to have the chance to exhibit their artwork at the RA – on site and online. Selected artists will have their work exhibited online or onsite at the Royal Academy, with  special prizes also awarded. Submitted artworks will be judged in key stage groups by panels of art experts including Royal Academicians, RA curators and RA Schools students.

Who can enter?

Students aged 7-19 can enter artworks in the Young Artists’ Summer Show.

Prizes will be awarded for two inspiring artworks from each key stage, as chosen by President of the Royal Academy, Christopher le Brun. Students will receive vouchers for art materials plus a free practical workshop for their school.

We’ll also hold a People’s Choice award, where members of the public can vote for their favourite artwork. The winner will receive the same prizes.
