Year 9 Stratford Fieldtrip
During a recent trip to Stratford, Year 9 visited an iconic symbol of the 2012 London Olympics. Through several activities in different sites, we explored the impacts of the urban regeneration that took place. We started the day with a magnificent view of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, as we filled in our questions about the greenery, litter, open spaces and travel links. We also interviewed members of the public, both visitors and locals and received an interesting selection of comments about the area. We then moved onto various other places around the site, such as the Olympic Rings and the Copper Box arena.
