Year 3 Trip to the Lookout Discovery Centre

The Year 3 girls enjoyed their visit to the Lookout Discovery Centre in Bracknell in June. It provided them with an opportunity to experience many ‘hands on’ Science activities, consolidating the fabulous work they have been doing in Science over the year, including the ‘Great Science Share’!

Experiences included; building electric circuits, taking shadow photographs, looking at thermal imaging and experimenting with aero dynamics!

The bug hunt proved very popular, as did climbing the observation tower, despite the 88 steps! Fortunately, the weather was kind to us and we made the most of the fabulous forest surroundings by eating outside and having a great time on the play equipment at lunchtime. It was a lovely way to round off Science learning in Year 3.

As always our thanks go to our parent volunteers for their ongoing support.
