The UK’s Diverse Population

To celebrate the UK’s diverse population and as part of their understanding of the Windrush generation,  our Year 8s have been busy researching the history, food, music, dance and costumes of the Notting Hill Carnival. To judge the best pieces of research, we were fortunate to be joined by Jada and her newly formed Afro-Caribbean Society. The standard was very high and we are very much looking forward to creating a whole year group display of their vibrant work in the Manor. First place awards went to Fatima 8ASI, Madhu 8SNA, Shreya 8SBA, Keying 8SNA, Kayo 8SBA and Fatema Zahra 8ASI.
