Spanish Play

The Onatti theatre company delighted Year 7 – 11 Spanish students with yet another hilarious and slick performance.

This year the play was about an impoverished owner of a Spanish bar in the South of Spain, with a touch of the wild west in the shape of two villainous cowboys. After many unsuccessful auditions by untalented characters to make money for the owner of the Spanish bar by winning money in a talent competition, the play happily concludes.

A special mention must be made of Maansi Kalirai who played a significant role as the waitress of the Spanish bar. She impressed us all by her acting and her willingness to speak Spanish in front of an audience of 280 students.

We look forward to next year’s performance. Maybe, another student will be next year’s star?
