Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Competition

Our students have taken part in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition, demonstrating outstanding design thinking skills. They developed innovative and practical solutions using technology to promote healthier lifestyles, showcasing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Their work reflects the NWC values of curiosity, resilience, and responsibility, and we are incredibly proud of the excellent examples they have produced.

Email from Samsung Next Generation to Mrs Kawa:

“The great news is that your students, Eva and Jiya, were runners-up in the 13 –15 age group with their fantastic idea, Soothe Space. Huge congratulations to them, and to you as their teacher!

Out of 1,111 entries from schools across the region, we received 20 entries from your school – thank you for supporting each students’ participation.

Even with a smaller number/proportion of submissions compared to some other schools, the quality of your students’ work really stood out of course, with one of your students’ entries finishing as runner-up in the 13–15 age group.

We’re really grateful for your school’s involvement and look forward to seeing your students continue to contribute their ideas in future years. Every entry makes a difference, and your students’ work has clearly already made a big impact!”

Each of the 20 participants will be presented with a certificate from Samsung to acknowledge their submissions.

Well done to all participants!
