Positional Language

Our Reception classes have been building bridges using different construction toys. Below is one of their creations!

This links to the story that they have been focusing on, The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Our girls then used a troll and a goat to practise positional language by describing where they were in relation to the bridge. They used the words ‘on top of, under, next to, beside, in front of, and behind’.
