Pop-Up Peace Pledge

Girls in 3A wanted to hold a Pop Up Peace Pledge to highlight the difficulties many children face in countries where there is war and conflict. They organised a number of activities for Junior pupils to take part in. These included making peace pledges, creating a peace garden and decorating a tree with messages of peace. Several girls, throughout the Junior School, wrote to David Simmons, MP for Northwood, expressing their concerns about wars across the globe. They were delighted to receive letters from Mr Simmonds outlining the action the government is taking to support families and children who live in war zones.
