Making a Mini-Beast Hotel

When we visited Forest School recently, a Year 1 class were on a mission to collect sticks and bark to make their own hotel to attract mini-beasts. The hotels were constructed using logs and sticks, mud scraped up from the garden and juicy leaves as a lure to attract a great diversity of guests.  It was a great fun afternoon. Our first guest was a slug, who the girls aptly christened ‘Slidy’.  We placed our hotels in the relative shady tranquility of the fenced off area in the Vincent House playground.

Well Done all!
