Kew Gardens Trip

Y4 took part in exploring the complex rainforest habitat and a variety of rainforest plants located in one of Kew’s famous glasshouses.

In this session they worked scientifically by observing, taking measurements and asking questions about rainforest habitats and exploring the relationships between the rainforest plants, animals and people.

Next, they visited the Marianne North Gallery in which they travelled the world through her botanical artwork and then visited the children’s garden.
