Inspiring Author Visit

We were very lucky to be joined by award-winning author Jenny Valentine earlier this month. Jenny is a writer of Young Adult Fiction; her work has featured in the Carnegie Medal and Waterstones Prize shortlists, among others.

Jenny is a favourite in the Northwood College Library, where her novel ‘Us in the Before and After’ was thoroughly consumed and discussed by our Book Club!

Jenny held three sessions across the morning, speaking with Years 5 to 10. She shared her creative process, where she draws inspiration from and some top insider tips for story writing. All invaluable advice and insight from a successful female author to any girl considering writing in her future!
