Congratulations to Year 11 for an outstanding set of GCSE results!

We are delighted to announce an outstanding set of GCSE results, with 73% of grades at 9-7 for this year’s GCSE examinations.  

Mrs Brown commented: “I am so very proud of our Year 11s. Over 80% of our young Historians achieved Grade 9 in their History exam, as did 75% of Latin students. 100% of our talented musicians received Grades 9-8 in their Music exam, similarly, 70% of our students achieved Grades 9-8 in their Biology exam, as did 68% of our Religious Studies students.”

 

Roxanne, who achieved a full set of 9 Grade 9 GCSES, said: “I’m absolutely overjoyed with my results, I’m over the moon and so very happy that all my hard work paid off. A big thank you to my brilliant teachers, they always encourage me to do my very best.” 

 

 

Francesca, who achieved nine Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and one A, said: “I’m really happy with my results and I want to thank my teachers for always pushing me and believing in me. I also want to thank my parents for all their support. I am really looking forward to joining Northwood’s Sixth Form where I will study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at A level.” Francesca’s mother, Karen, said: “We’re amazed by her incredible set of results and wholeheartedly thank everyone at NWC for all they have done to get her here today!”

 

Baraa, who achieved six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, and one Grade 7, said: “I’m really pleased with my results and I’m really excited to start my new subjects next year! I’m grateful to all of the teachers for all of their help and support. I am really looking forward to getting started on my A Level subjects at NWC, which are RPE, Maths, Chemistry and Biology.”

 

 

Amba, who achieved five Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and two Grade 7s, said: “I am so happy and I want to thank my teachers for being so inspiring and for believing in me. I am really looking forward to joining the NWC sixth form, I know I will become completely immersed in my A level subjects, which are RPE, English Literature and Art.”

 

Kiera, who achieved five Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and three Grade 7s, said: “Thank you to all the teachers for all the support throughout my Northwood College journey. I’ve appreciated every one of them and they have been such a big help to me.”

Kiera’s mother, Alpa, said: “Our daughter achieved everything she deserves. Her teachers have been supportive, nurturing and have always got the very best out of her.”

Kiera’s father, Dipesh, said “A great set of results for Kiera.  It’s a culmination of her hard work and all the teachers and staff at Northwood College for putting in such a lot of effort through these challenging times. Well done to everyone.”

Milli, who achieved five Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s, said: “I am ecstatic, I have been at NWC for 15 years and I actually bumped into my Nursery teacher the other day and she recognised me! The support I have had over my school years has been absolutely tremendous. I have always been motivated to excel in all my subjects and I am very grateful. I am very much looking forward to joining the NWC sixth form to study RPE, Politics, Computer Science and Latin.”

 

Kaya, who achieved six Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and three Grade 7s, said: “I am so delighted with these results and I thank my teachers who have always challenged me to do my very best and to love my learning. I am looking forward to studying Geography, Chemistry, Maths and further Maths in the Sixth Form.” Kaya’s mum, Rema said, “I am so very proud of Kaya and I am confident she will excel in the stage of her journey.”

Neha, who achieved four Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and four Grade 7s, said: “Thank you so much Northwood College for all your support and thank you to my family for always being there for me.” Neha’s mother, Bhavna, said: “I am super proud! All the hard work has certainly paid off.”
