GDST Swimming Rally

On 23 January a team of 18 students from Year 5 – Year 13 travelled to Guildford Spectrum to compete at the annual GDST Swimming Rally, organised by Northwood College. The morning consisted of heats across all strokes, with the afternoon culminating in finals and the relays.

We had some fantastic results, with nine swimmers making finals and several top three finishes. Amelie in Year 8 won gold in the Under 14 years of age (U14) 100m, IM and U14 50m Backstroke.

Alexa in Year 6 achieved a silver in the U11A 50m Backstroke and the U11A team finished runners up in their age category against 15 other GDST schools.
