GDST Directors and Heads of Sixth Form Conference

A leading voice in national education debates, the Girls Day School Trust, has been at the forefront of education research and teacher training since 1872. We are proud to be a part of this unique family of 26 all girls’ schools across England and Wales and were delighted to welcome our fellow Directors and Heads of Sixth Forms at NWC last month for our ‘GDST – Transitions to Tomorrow’ Conference.

As event hosts, our objective was to provide our guests with the inspiration and headspace to think strategically about how we best prepare all our students for their next steps beyond school – ensuring that GDST girls are well-adjusted, self-aware and confident as they transition into their roles as future leaders and change-makers. The team have been enthusiastically engaging in collaborative conversations guided by leading experts, aimed at enhancing our shared skills and leaving us with a toolkit of practical tactics to implement in our sister schools.
