Year 12 Geography Fieldwork in Harrow
Year 12 Geographers visited Harrow as part of their A Level fieldwork topic of Changing Places.
In residential zones, they investigated how family homes have been converted into multiple occupancy flats to meet the demand for cheaper, short stay lets for a transient population. Whilst in the town centre, they observed how flows of investment and ethnicities are influencing the land use of different buildings. The girls enjoyed interviewing members of the public to understand how Harrow has changed over their lifetime.
The girls’ exemplary behaviour made for an excellent day of fieldwork.
