Year 1 Visit Bekonscot Model Village

Junior School Trip

Year 1 visited Bekonscot Model Village on Tuesday 20 September.  We had a wonderful day and explored so many different models!  We learnt about times in the past to fit in with our topic on ‘Changes in Living Memory’.  We saw, bi-planes, thatched houses, old fire engines, steam trains, sailing boats and even a windmill.

We noticed the stained glass window in a church, the wonderful fairground, the hospital, the castle with the arrow slits, the Punch and Judy show on the beach, the lighthouses, the cable cars, the barges being pulled by horses, the games of cricket and rugby being played, the zoo…………....  We had a wonderful time!

Our thanks go to all the parents who accompanied us on such a super school trip.  Mrs K Delaney
