British Biology Olympiad

Sixth Form

The British Biology Olympiad is a competition run by the Royal Society of Biology for Sixth Form students around the world.

It consists of two one hour multiple choice papers which were taken online under staff supervised exam conditions in January 2016.

The British Biology Olympiad challenges and stimulates students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents, enabling them to demonstrate their knowledge and to be suitably rewarded and publicly recognised by the award of medals, certificates and other prizes.

This year we are delighted that the following awards have been given to Northwood College girls:

Roli Adollo – Highly Commended (Year 13)

Nana Owusu-Addo – Bronze Medal (Year 12)

Shriya Ashar – Bronze Medal (Year 13)

Dora Barnes – Silver Medal (Year 13)
