Year 13 Leavers' 2017 from Northwood College for Girls on Vimeo.

We are extremely proud of the Sixth Form at Northwood College for Girls. It offers a forward-thinking and fast-paced learning environment that is focused on achieving optimum academic results and enrichment; where girls are consistently inspired, motivated, challenged and supported to achieve and excel in all their goals and aspirations; and to step up to the challenge of heightened levels of responsibility, leadership and independence.

The Sixth Form is a vibrant community of intellectual, articulate, confident, socially-adept and dynamic young women who look after one another and rejoice in one another’s successes. Teachers and students benefit equally from strong relationships that are built on mutual trust and respect which we believe is borne from the application of small tutor groups and highly dedicated and professional teachers who always put our girls first.

The curriculum seeks to push beyond public examination requirements because we know that enhanced and extended programmes do not just ensure sustained success for our girls once they are at university and in work, but they also help to secure the very best grades.

We provide a bespoke integrated programme of academic work, enrichment and pastoral care for each individual; engineered to ensure that she will be fully prepared to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world with confidence and pride.

Fun and joy are also integral to a Northwood College education and we delight in watching our girls grow both socially and spiritually.

Our aim is to develop young women who are:
